The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Helm Foundation in the field of training and advisory services. The protocol was signed by Dr. Sherifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, and Ms. Amna Al-Saei, Director of Helm Company for Education, Training and Consulting.
Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development indicated that the cooperation protocol between the institute and Helm Foundation for Education, Training and Consulting comes from a full awareness of the importance of cooperation between institutions aiming to support the process of sustainable human development, pointing to the importance of the role that The institute is doing it in the formation, qualification and upgrading of the knowledge and skills of the Egyptian state cadres in all fields with the aim of achieving sustainable development in accordance with the vision of Egypt 2030, and the distinguished training and advisory position enjoyed by Helm in building and developing human capabilities.
Al-Saeed pointed out that the main objective of the protocol is to integrate people with special needs in all areas of life, as the two parties agreed to discuss ways to enhance social integration and ensure the employment and development of people with special needs in a wide range of jobs and professions while enabling the workplace environment to meet their needs, adding The aspects of cooperation also include joint support in implementing training and rehabilitation courses and providing advisory services, especially those related to people with special needs or needs related to workers in the state’s administrative apparatus, which contribute to supporting and activating comprehensive community development and the formation of new trained cadres with the aim of supporting the administrative development process in Egypt.
With regard to cooperation activities between the two parties, Dr. Sherif Sharif explained that it consists in the exchange of delegations' visits between the two parties, with the aim of informing each party about the experiences and experiences of the other party in the fields of research and drafting in ways to benefit from them and facilitate the methods of employing them, in addition to exchanging researchers and experts to carry out the research activities that To be agreed upon later, in addition to exchanging information, publications, research materials, scientific publications and electronic software, as well as making use of the infrastructure available to both parties to facilitate and serve the search and drafting process.
Sharif pointed to the most important points of cooperation, which will be implemented immediately after the signing of the protocol, which is to develop some of the institute's electronic platform programs to suit people with special needs or implement their own training courses, as well as cooperation in the women's leadership program implemented by the institute, in addition to cooperation. In the initiative of development ambassadors implemented by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in cooperation with the Institute, as well as the development of government agencies that provide service to the public to suit people with special needs, and the introduction of new mechanisms that help people with special needs to obtain services.
It is worth noting that Helm Helm Foundation works to integrate people with special needs in all aspects of life by training and qualifying them to join the labor market, and making places available to receive them. Helm also provides comprehensive consulting and training services to institutions, professionals and governments.
