British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak said that his priority remains protecting as many jobs as possible from the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, as he prepares for his second round of economic support, which will be announced in the budget of the third of March.
"My priority has always been to seek and protect the largest possible number of people's jobs ... I think this is the proper and due priority as we think about the next stage of the pandemic," Sonak told Sky News TV on Friday.
Sunak also said that the people want the government to be careful and cautious in easing the coronavirus restrictions.
